Privacy Policy

ArtBiz is based in New York. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Short version: we use your information only to run ArtBiz.ai for you, and we never sell it.

What we collect

Weekly email list: your email, and your first name and what you make if you tell us. We also note where you found us (for example Instagram).
Your account: your name, email and password (stored encrypted), and what you add: artworks, images, bio, statement, CV, applications and Virtual Gallery settings.
Help & Feedback: your message, an optional screenshot, and the page you were on.
Conversations with Clari: the messages you write to Clari, the ArtBiz.ai AI assistant, her answers, and any answer you mark as not helpful.
Basic technical data: a login cookie that keeps you signed in, standard server logs used to keep the site secure and working, and anonymous visit statistics (which page you opened and which site or link brought you here, counted with a random ID stored in your browser; we do not store your IP address).

How we use it

To send the weekly open calls email (you can unsubscribe with one click in every email).
To run your account: store your work, build your documents and show your Virtual Gallery if you publish it.
To answer your questions and fix problems.
To let Clari answer you (see below).
To improve ArtBiz.ai, for example by counting how many people sign up from each source.

Who helps us run the service

We use a few trusted providers, only for the purposes above:

Supabase: database, file storage and login.
Vercel: website hosting.
Resend: sending emails.
CallMeBot: a short WhatsApp alert to us when you send a Help & Feedback message (only the type of message and your first name).
Anthropic: the AI writing help and Clari. What you give the AI tools or write to Clari, with the account details they need, is sent to it to create the answer; under its commercial terms it is not used to train its models.

Your information may be stored and processed in the United States.

Clari, the AI assistant

Clari is an AI, not a person. To answer you she reads your account details (name, city, mediums, texts, the written details of your works and your applications) and this week’s open calls. She has no internet access and does not see your images.
Clari never creates artworks and never uses images of your works.
Your conversations are private. We save them only to improve ArtBiz.ai and to answer you when you choose “Talk to Clarisse”; that sends the conversation to Clarisse with your message. Only the ArtBiz team can read them, and they are never shared publicly.
Please don’t share passwords, payment details or ID numbers with Clari.
Your conversations are deleted with your account, or earlier if you ask us at clarisse@globalartbiz.com.

What is public

Nothing in your account is public unless you publish your Virtual Gallery. Then only the works and details you choose to show are visible. You can unpublish at any time.

What we never do

Sell or rent your personal information.
Share your work or contact details with organizers or anyone else without your permission.

Your choices

Unsubscribe from emails with the link at the bottom of any email.
Edit or delete your works and texts in your account at any time.
Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or full deletion of your account by writing to clarisse@globalartbiz.com. We answer within 30 days.

We keep your information while your account or subscription is active, and delete it when you ask us to.

Security

Your images are stored privately and shown to you through temporary links. Only you can see or change your account. No system is perfect, so if we ever learn of a problem that affects your data, we will tell you.

Children

ArtBiz.ai is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
